The Nature of Common Sense and Intuition

I think this tweet by Tyson tries to address the nature of common sense and intuition. Someone responded to Tyson's tweet asking "Well, what's the difference." The difference is that what one person perceives is true about nature is not necessarily true, and many truths about the universe are counter-intuitive. Reflect for a moment that for a very long time there were people that believed heavier objects would always fall faster. It was common sense!
