Personal Experience of A Divine Creator

In the film, Pervert's Guide to Ideology, the philosopher in the video said that the only true way to become an atheist is to have gone through Christianity. It's on Netflix if you're interested.

I did get into Christianity and I saw "personal experience." I saw it with my own eyes when I watched the Passion of Christ with a youth group, saw them crying, which compelled me to cry too.  From that day on, for several months I worshipped the Christian deity of the Evangelicals.  I saw the way that people took any beneficial or unusual thing that happened in their day and thought it important enough to must have been the desire of the grand creator of this perplexing universe we exist in. Such experiences as mundane as a headache going away or finding 20.00 on the floor could be seen as miracles by our deity. My interest in psychology at the very same time showed me that this sort of behavior is common to all religious groups, I had to ask myself what made the Christians "personal experience" with their god any more meaningful than anyone elses "personal experiences."
