If there was a god?

Depends what god we are talking about. It's difficult to imagine how the world would look, if there was a god, when I've lived in a world where there are people who are certain their god exists, yet I have lived a life seeing no evidence of such. If a loving god existed, maybe I wouldn't read news about some 5 year old kid getting eaten by a snake every year; I would observe that talking to myself, as if to that deity, also known by some as praying, actually makes a difference. Those are a couple ways the world might be different. If I knew there was a loving god and there was an eternity in heaven after death, I would be happy about that, because I actually like the idea of living forever. Some people say that would be boring or sad, having to watch their loved ones die and all. For now, I know the only way I'm living forever is in the memories of fellow human beings, but even that reencarnation is short lived.
